From daily real life work to simulator flying

Working daily with real life Airbus aircraft is sometimes not enough. You can easily get addicted to aviation. Therefore consequently some years ago the idea came up to build a simulator at home. A long internet research during Christmas 2024 ended up in contacting Christian from VIER IM POTT.

Right from the beginning I was convinced to realize the project them. All documents provided and direct contact have been very helpful to me in setting up the simulator. With some technical and electric knowledge it is fairly simple to complete the build.
From placing my order until receiving the first delivery, with frame parts, it took only 10 days. Subsequently two more big boxes arrived until mid of June. Finally end of June 2025 it was time for the inaugural flight.

The shell size M fits perfectly my room and gives already a really immersive feeling during flight. For the future I am planning to add a 180 degree visual system to replace the forward screen. Right now the setup is based on two PCs running MSFS2020 and ProSim A320.

Many happy landings
